I really enjoyed the Blog Challenge at the end of last month, so I thought about taking part in another one. I think it's an easy way to tell more about myself.
I have been flirting with the challenge from Caro - Draußen nur Kännchen for a while. The idea is so uncomplicated and yet can provide quite a lot of insight.
The 12th of each month is told almost exclusively through 12 pictures. Without many words, this gives an impression of what a typical day might look like.
Now, the 12th of June happened to fall on a Sunday. So I'm not showing a typical day, at least not an everyday one. But maybe I'll take part in "12 out of 12" again.
Our day starts calmly with a cup of tea. We discuss our plans. We want to explore the nature in our immediate vicinity. The Ruhr area is now much greener than people often think.
After a few errands, we start our "excursion" in the early afternoon. So let's go, I'll take you through my day.
Freshly brewed ginger tea looks unspectacular, but tastes fantastic.
Our first stop.
On the road with the 9-Euro-Ticket - I don't find it that crowded 😉
Talking about "draußen nur Kännchen" (outside, they only serve coffee in small pots - typically German)
Me, Gone with the Wind...
Mmm, that was delicious! I'll keep the cup to mix some colour in it - maybe even pistachio.
A short detour into the forest. The shade is good for us.
On the way back, along the water again.
I caught him.
This is what the Industrial Culture Route can look like.
These camomile flowers grow right next to the canal.
Home again. In the evening, we have asparagus.
That was a beautiful day! Thank you so much for accompanying me. I would be happy if you also tell me about your day.
