But what of the underground that beckons with swell and stillness, responding to our barbaric desecration with patience, until it covers our unshakable trust in imperturbability with storm and tide and a hurricane?
“mare nostrum” was created by applying paper and paint, removing paint, and applying it again – purposefully and free-flowing. The texture thus created, layer by layer, gives the painting its peaceful, menacing depth. A final layer of varnish protects the artwork from light and dust.

I attach great importance to quality and use only the best artist materials.
